Before
you go to the dealership(s) have an idea of what vehicle(s) you want to drive.
Remember,
before going to the dealership not to get emotional about a vehicle because
a good salesperson will pick up on that and try to push for a sale, which
will make some customers uneasy.
Take
someone with you whom is level headed and not know for impulsive buying to
be support for you or to run interference with the salesperson.
Once
you get to the dealership find a salesperson and inform him / her as to what
your intentions are that day, which are to drive the car(s) that you are interested
in and get an overall feel of the car.
If
a salesperson is pushing a sale or trying to get certain answers out of
you and you are tired of hearing or answering them tell them that you
have a broker that is taking care of the purchase for you soon.
DO NOT
let them make a copy of your license; showing them should be more than enough.
DO NOT
give any personal information other than your name; if you do they will call
and badger you.
Let the
salesperson do their demonstration of the vehicle for you so you as a potential
buyer are more knowledgeable of the vehicle.
After
the test drive kindly thank the salesperson and leave the dealership.
ABS can setup
a test drive with a dealership nearest you. Please call us and will make the
arrangements for you.
